Summer is winding down and before we know it, we will be gathering in the breath-taking Zion National Park.
We wanted to put all of the important and useful information you may need for your adventure in one, convenient place:

Saint George Municipal Airport-SGU (approximately 1 hour drive)
Las Vegas McCarran International Airport-LAS(approximately 3 hour drive)

Rental Car Parking
There is ample parking at NamaStay Vacation & Retreat Village should you wish to rent a car from the airport you chose.

Nama-Stay is less than half a mile from the Zion National Park main entrance and 500 feet from the nearest Free Shuttle stop. It is also five minutes by foot to several different restaurants, a grocery store, gifts shops, and more.

Please note, check in is at 4:00pm. As a boutique retreat center, they are not able to provide early check in.

Sunday Adventure + Narrows Hike

Most of Sunday is for exploring! After breakfast, the day is yours until dinner at 5pm. Whether you choose canyoneering, e-biking, hiking, shopping in Springdale, or simply relaxing, there are plenty of ways to enjoy Zion.

We highly, HIGHLY recommend you try Canyoneering on Sunday.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime way to explore Zion in an unforgettable way. Canyoneering consists of a few different components, including rappelling, hiking, down-climbing, and navigating through the water-carved slot canyons that is unique to the Zion area. No experience is necessary - really!

At 5pm, we’ll gather back together for dinner before heading to Zion Canyon Hot Springs, Zion’s newest attraction and a brand-new addition to our retreat experience. This relaxing evening excursion is included in the price of your retreat.

Zion Narrows Hike on Monday

The Zion Narrows hike is an amazing adventure into a river system cradled by 1500 foot tall sandstone walls. Unlike any other hike in the world, the Narrows hike requires hiking in and crossing through the Virgin River as it cuts through Zion National Park. 

We have reserved specialized footwear, dry gear, walking sticks for each of you from Zion Guru.

Your gear can be picked up Sunday between 2:00pm-7:30pm. We will provide details and instructions on obtaining your park pass upon arrival.

 As noted on the packing list, we recommend bringing a small backpack for your lunch, water bottle and other supplies for the hike.
